Be Practical...

At times, it happens you want to live a positive life based on positive thoughts however, people and environment around you , don't let you live such life.
They force you by saying "Be Practical"...As soon as you hear this sentence a battle starts- An invincible battle with yourself in which following thoughts float.
"Do Be Practical means to think negative?
When you reach an age of mid 20's you are very well aware that life is neither a bed of flowers nor a bed of thrones its mixture of both or may be how you want it to be.
If i want some of the thrones of my life to be converted in flowers what's wrong in this thinking?Since childhood i have been tought that love, humanity, positive thoughts, goodness are such tools which can help you make impossible into possible, then why whole world is now forcing me to think kii what i have studied for 20 yrs is wrong. These thoughts on which i have been brought up are just bookish stuff and you should "Be Practical"...
Come on....i am not ready to accept this. Then a thought comes if i am not ready to accept this "Am I a fool ?"
and finally after this whole thought a normal individual go for sleep and the next morning his/ her life is back to normal with daily chores as some where in that sleep you dumped this battle however at back ground its still going....with lot many questions Should i stop dreaming? Is there any word called Hope?
Has the world lost its glory?
The insence of being a human, is it lost!

Paradox...

The paradox of our time in history is that we have
taller buildings but shorter tempers,
wider Freeways , but narrower viewpoints.
We spend more, but have less,
we buy more, but enjoy less.

We have bigger houses and smaller families,
more conveniences, but less time.
We have more degrees but less sense,
more knowledge, but less judgment,
more experts, yet more problems,
more medicine, but less wellness.

We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom. We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values.
We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.
We've learned how to make a living, but not a life.
We've added years to life not life to years.
We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor.
We conquered outer space but not inner space.
We've done larger things, but not better things.
We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul.
We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice.
We write more, but learn less.
We plan more, but accomplish less.
We've learned to rush, but not to wait.
We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.
These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion,
big men and small character,
steep profits and shallow relationships.
These are the days of two incomes but more divorce,
fancier houses, but broken homes.

These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill.
It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom.

People say above is a message by George Carlin, comedian of the 70's and 80's- could write something so very eloquent...and so very appropriate

Maa...Taare Zameen Par

Main Kabhi Batlata Nahin
Par Andhere Se Darta Hoon Main Maa
Yun To Main,Dikhlata Nahin
Teri Parwaah Karta Hoon Main Maa
Tujhe Sab Hain Pata, Hain Na Maa
Tujhe Sab Hain Pata,,Meri Maa
Bheed Mein Yun Na Chhoro Mujhe
Ghar Laut Ke Bhi Aa Naa Paoon Maa
Bhej Na Itna Door Mujkko Tu
Yaad Bhi Tujhko Aa Naa Paoon Maa
Kya Itna Bura Hoon Main Maa
Kya Itna Bura Meri Maa

Jab Bhi Kabhi Papa Mujhe
Jo Zor Se Jhoola Jhulate Hain Maa
Meri Nazar Dhoondhe Tujhe
Sochu Yahi Tu Aa Ke Thaamegi Maa
Unse Main Yeh Kehta Nahin
Par Main Seham Jaata Hoon Maa

Chehre Pe Aane Deta Nahin
Dil Hi Dil Mein Ghabraata Hoon Maa
Tujhe Sab Hai Pata Hai Naa Maa
Tujhe Sab Hai Pata Meri Maa

Main Kabhi Batlata Nahin
Par Andhere Se Darta Hoon Main Maa
Yun To Main,Dikhlata Nahin
Teri Parwaah Karta Hoon Main Maa
Tujhe Sab Hain Pata, Hain Na Maa
Tujhe Sab Hain Pata,,Meri Maa ....

Smile

Smile...
This is some thing which made me smile...Thinking to give this to one of my friends who's expecting mother...
This one is for you dear!
Love u....

Is this me ?

" Is this me!"
Have I transformed from an innocent friendly girl to a lonely person like this.
Is this what i wanted from life?
Running in the race of being best, what am i transforming into!
Is this what we call "Solitude" is?
