Paradox...

The paradox of our time in history is that we have
taller buildings but shorter tempers,
wider Freeways , but narrower viewpoints.
We spend more, but have less,
we buy more, but enjoy less.

We have bigger houses and smaller families,
more conveniences, but less time.
We have more degrees but less sense,
more knowledge, but less judgment,
more experts, yet more problems,
more medicine, but less wellness.

We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom. We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values.
We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.
We've learned how to make a living, but not a life.
We've added years to life not life to years.
We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor.
We conquered outer space but not inner space.
We've done larger things, but not better things.
We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul.
We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice.
We write more, but learn less.
We plan more, but accomplish less.
We've learned to rush, but not to wait.
We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.
These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion,
big men and small character,
steep profits and shallow relationships.
These are the days of two incomes but more divorce,
fancier houses, but broken homes.

These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill.
It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom.

People say above is a message by George Carlin, comedian of the 70's and 80's- could write something so very eloquent...and so very appropriate

Maa...Taare Zameen Par

Main Kabhi Batlata Nahin
Par Andhere Se Darta Hoon Main Maa
Yun To Main,Dikhlata Nahin
Teri Parwaah Karta Hoon Main Maa
Tujhe Sab Hain Pata, Hain Na Maa
Tujhe Sab Hain Pata,,Meri Maa
Bheed Mein Yun Na Chhoro Mujhe
Ghar Laut Ke Bhi Aa Naa Paoon Maa
Bhej Na Itna Door Mujkko Tu
Yaad Bhi Tujhko Aa Naa Paoon Maa
Kya Itna Bura Hoon Main Maa
Kya Itna Bura Meri Maa

Jab Bhi Kabhi Papa Mujhe
Jo Zor Se Jhoola Jhulate Hain Maa
Meri Nazar Dhoondhe Tujhe
Sochu Yahi Tu Aa Ke Thaamegi Maa
Unse Main Yeh Kehta Nahin
Par Main Seham Jaata Hoon Maa

Chehre Pe Aane Deta Nahin
Dil Hi Dil Mein Ghabraata Hoon Maa
Tujhe Sab Hai Pata Hai Naa Maa
Tujhe Sab Hai Pata Meri Maa

Main Kabhi Batlata Nahin
Par Andhere Se Darta Hoon Main Maa
Yun To Main,Dikhlata Nahin
Teri Parwaah Karta Hoon Main Maa
Tujhe Sab Hain Pata, Hain Na Maa
Tujhe Sab Hain Pata,,Meri Maa ....

Smile

Smile...
This is some thing which made me smile...Thinking to give this to one of my friends who's expecting mother...
This one is for you dear!
Love u....

Is this me ?

" Is this me!"
Have I transformed from an innocent friendly girl to a lonely person like this.
Is this what i wanted from life?
Running in the race of being best, what am i transforming into!
Is this what we call "Solitude" is?

Words..it's all about them

Bad words from our loved one's hurt us more than swords...they kill us not physically but internally.
They rupture our souls.
and we do the same thing with our parents or brothers and sisters 100 of times...and don't bother to say sorry.
Is our temper so worthy that it cost us the hurts of our loved one's!
And the one who's hurting is no one other than us.

Family

Family...The younger one is lucky to be with his family....

Innocence

I am so much attracted to the innocence of this child.
Thought..to share....

Professionalism

Professionalism

Do professionalism means cutting roots of other. Is this professionalism?
I am searching answer for “What is Professionalism?” When some one says be professional what do this means. This was a conversation between two IT professionals.
A said: I at times think does being professional mean not to be friendly with your team, or with your colleagues.
Does being professional mean sitting in the cab, not speaking to anyone and if you are discussing some thing it should be about technological changes only, i.e. it should be a generic talk. While stepping out of cab you should forget about your cab members, and walk in solitude till your desk.
You are not supposed to laugh; just give a smile if some one greets you. You should keep this thing in mind that you should not be the first one to greet until and unless one whom you are greeting is senior in designation to you. If you found some one who is from some other team, you should try to ignore. In office you should attentively sit on your seat and check your official emails, if some jokes are shared in emails just keep it to yourself, else you would be a merry maker Isn’t it! In office you should not enjoy work with your team, but you should work in solitude. If you feel like taking a tea break, take a cup of coffee from near by pantry. You should take less bio breaks and you should drink less water, because if you will stand more from your seat, then that means you have less concentration power. You are not doing any fruitful work. You should take lunch on your desk, and, your cell phones should be switched off, you should not speak to your family or friends in office, however how much urgent it be! May be the talk that you are missing might be very crucial for your family. You should not speak to your children or your spouse. Then towards dusk if you can put more hours of work then it’s really good, else you can go home. Again mind it you should not speak to anyone in cab, it’s an old proverb “Silence is gold”.
Hey, is this professionalism is! However, I disagree, if this is professionalism, then it sucks. It sucks my soul as a human.

My take on professionalism is Wake up in the morning get ready for office, pick a cab, chat with your cab mates, about anything may be songs, new movies, news, technology, or any of your interest area. Come to office, greet everyone with a smile, doesn’t matter what designation person is whom you are giving a smile. As a human you are making his/her day. Always remember your smile can make someone’s day. Come to your seat. Check your pending tasks, share joke as well as work with your peers. Now people have questions why a professional should share jokes, arre baba it helps you in better tuning of frequency with your team. After all it’s your team. Take a cup of coffee; take a tea break, with your team, or anyone you feel like. Go to lunch, don’t keep your cell phone switched off, just keep on low volume, speak to your family, after all you are working for you and your family over here, however just keep a note that your talks with your friends and family should not affect your work. If you have less work and team morale is going down, come on it’s your team it’s your family, just sort it out.
B’s response:
You are absolutely correct A, official team is also your family, and you should nurture it. If you are happy in your team, whole team is happy, you are very important. Every member in team is very important. Treat it as your family; believe me your work efficiency would increase by 60%. Regarding being good professionals, then professionals are also human beings, humanity is the first principle. Secondly, being professional means not disclosing your project / Company secrets to outside world. Being professional means presentably dressed. Being professional means not having empty heads but have brain in them. Professional means handling situations in a fine manner. Being professional means being an intelligent good human. There are instances when work takes a priority over family, but not every day they are just instances.

It is not meant to offend any community.
